This is our standard trip that we offer for offshore fishing. With the 8 hour you get the time to really put in a full days worth of fishing without being limited to time and distance like you would on the 5 hour. During the 8 hour you can experience either  bottom fishing or drift fishing depending on the time of the year, but usually not both styles of fishing because you would need a 12 hour for that. Depending on the time of the year we will fish for different species as they come into season but the main targets of the 8 hour are kingfish and shark. During the summer months when red snapper season is open we will first target red snapper and after everyone gets their limit we will drift fish the rest of the time for kingfish or shark. When its not red snapper season the 8 hour is mainly a drift fishing trip for kingfish and shark except during the winter when they vermillion snapper fish on bottom.
